Using Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Two-step verification (2-Step), also known as multi-factor authentication, is a security feature that requires users to verify their identity using two different factors when signing into an account. The two factors are usually something the user knows, like a password, and something they have, like a phone or security key. This adds an extra layer of security into your account.
ATX requires you to login using the password and multi-factor authentication after 12 hours of activity or 30 minutes of inactivity.
You will need to use a mobile authenticator app or Windows® authenticator app to meet the 2-step verification requirements. The table below provides examples of some authenticator apps for mobile devices and Windows®.
